Def Leppard, Tim McGraw Lend Single To NBA

Def Leppard 's new single with Tim McGraw, "Nine Lives," has been selected as the featured track in a special opening segment recorded for NBA games airing on ABC television, according to a press release.

The song, from the band's upcoming studio album, "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge," will be featured on ABC game broadcasts throughout the rest of the season, including the ABC and ESPN playoff games. Both McGraw and Def Leppard recently shot new video footage for the opening segment of NBA games, which debuted on ABC Mar. 9. Def Leppard's new album, "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge," scheduled to be released Apr. 29, is the band's first release of new material since 2002's "X."
