Springsteen releases free Halloween treat, joins Obama event

Bruce Springsteen has released a new video and free audio download, "A Night With The Jersey Devil," on his website. "If you grew up in central or south Jersey, you grew up with the 'Jersey Devil,' Springsteen wrote on the site. "Here's a little musical Halloween treat. Have fun!"

As previously reported, Springsteen canceled his usual Halloween display at his home in Rumson, NJ, due to the "catastrophic success" over the past years. In a statement on his site, he said too many visitors caused concern for the safety of kids and parents this year.

In other news, Springsteen will kick off a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Sunday (11/2) in Cleveland, WKCY-TV reports.

Tickets to the event, set for 3:45 p.m. at the city's Mall C, reportedly are not required, but people should RSVP at Obama's website. Gates open at 2 p.m.
