Report: Creed reunion in the works

Creed is in the midst of planning a 2009 reunion tour, unnamed sources told Billboard.com. Frontman Scott Stapp and his Creed bandmates--Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall--have not performed together since June of 2004.

Since the band split, Stapp has been working as a solo artist, while Tremonti, Phillips and Marshall formed Alter Bridge with vocalist Myles Kennedy.

Sources close to the band said there are "significant dollars" on the table for a Creed tour and an official announcement could be imminent, according to a Billboard report.
