Superstar trio's single breakin' records

Eminem , Dr. Dre and 50 Cent's new single, "Crack a Bottle," soared to No. 1 on The Billboard Hot 100 this week, setting a Nielsen SoundScan record for opening-week download sales with 418,000 units sold, according to a Billboard.com report.

The rap trio's first-week sales total topples the prior mark of 335,000 downloads moved by T.I. featuring Rihanna the week of Oct. 18, 2008. For overall single-week sales, "Crack a Bottle" ranks third behind Flo Rida's "Low" (467,000 the week of Jan. 12, 2008) and Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" (419,000 on Jan. 10, 2009).

"Crack a Bottle" is the second Hot 100 No. 1 for both Eminem and Dr. Dre. Em's "Lose Yourself" spent 12 weeks at the top in 2002 and Dre's "No Diggity" with Blackstreet hit No. 1 in 1996. 50 Cent last topped the chart with "Candy Shop" in 2005.
