Jewel: Exclusive LiveDaily Sessions Performance
Though she introduced herself to the world through pop music, Jewel maintains a musical career now firmly rooted in country. Her debut album, 1995's "Pieces of You," became one of the best-selling debuts of all time, receiving RIAA platinum certification an astounding 12 times. Since then, the singer/songwriter/guitarist has shifted to country tunes with her sixth studio album, last year's "Perfectly Clear." The record, produced by John Rich of country act Big & Rich, entered The Billboard 200 at No. 8 in June and spawned a Top 20 hit with "Stronger Woman," the effort's lead single.

Jewel, who had to relinquish her spot on this season's "Dancing With The Stars" opposite husband Ty Murray due to injuries, will release her next country record, "Lullaby," May 5. The Texas-based singer will spend part of the summer touring the US behind the forthcoming release.
