Coldplay postpones Saratoga Springs gig

Citing an unspecified illness, Coldplay has called off its scheduled performance tonight (5/27) in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Though further details were not given, an announcement posted at the band's website said that management was "in the process of re-arranging the show for another date" and changes would be addressed at the band's website shortly.

The postponement comes just eight shows into the British alt-rockers' lengthy spring and summer tour of the US, which began May 15 in West Palm Beach, FL, and runs through early August. The band's next scheduled show is slated for Saturday (5/30) in Pittsburgh.

Earlier this month, the group revealed that fans attending their shows through the end of the year would receive a free copy of "LeftRightLeftRightLeft." The exclusive live CD is also available for download via the band's website.
