Springsteen's Giants Stadium run grows
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, who recently announced plans for a three-night stand at New Jersey's Giants Stadium, have added two more nights to the run.
Originally set to perform Sept. 30, Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, Springsteen and company will return to the venue for encore performances Oct. 8 and 9. Tickets for the newly added dates will hit the box office at noon next Monday (6/8) via Ticketmaster, according to Springsteen's website. (Ticketmaster is LiveDaily's parent company.)
Springsteen's five-night run will comprise the last-ever musical concerts to take place at Giants Stadium, which is scheduled to close at the end of the 2009 NFL season. Springsteen holds the record as the top-selling artist at the Meadowlands, boasting 56 sold-out shows with the E Street Band to date, according to his publicist.
