"Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King," the latest album from the Dave Matthews Band [ tickets ], bows at No. 1 on the US album chart after moving about 424,000 copies during its first week in stores.

The strong first-week sales figure is the third-highest of the year, behind Eminem [ tickets ]'s "Relapse" (608,000 copies) and U2's "No Line on the Horizon" (484,000 copies), according to Nielsen SoundScan retail figures as reported by Billboard.

Meanwhile, after spending two weeks in the top slot, "Relapse" drops one notch to No. 2 on sales of about 141,000 copies; 311 [ tickets ]'s "Uplifter" debuts at No. 3 after selling about 60,000 copies during its first week out; and rock supergroup Chickenfoot [ tickets ]'s self-titled debut, despite an abbreviated first week in stores (the album was released last Friday), enters the chart at No. 4 with sales of 52,000 copies;

Green Day [ tickets ]'s "21st Century Breakdown" and the " Hannah Montana [ tickets ]: The Movie" soundtrack each drop two spots to land at Nos. 4 and 5 with sales of just under 52,000 copies and 50,000 copies, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Taking Back Sunday [ tickets ]'s "New Again," which debuts at No. 7 on sales of 48,000 copies; Lady GaGa's "The Fame" at No. 8 with 47,000 copies; Kenny Chesney [ tickets ]'s "Greatest Hits II" at No. 9 with 39,000 copies; and Taylor Swift [ tickets ]'s "Fearless" at No. 10 with 36,000 copies.
