With the "Black Ice" tour kick-off just a few days away, AC/DC has tacked a handful of new US dates onto the end of the summer and fall itinerary.

The legendary rockers begin the North American outing Tuesday (7/28)--the 30th anniversary of the release of "Highway to Hell"--in Foxborough, MA, followed by stadium and arena shows in 22 major markets throughout the US and Canada. Since last check, four concerts have been added to the end of the schedule: Oct. 1 in Phoenix; Oct. 16 in Washington, DC; Oct. 18 in Buffalo, NY; and Nov. 6 in Austin, TX. The full itinerary is shown below.

Accompanying AC/DC on the trek are Irish rockers The Answer, who will handle opening duties for the North American excursion.

The extended run supports "Black Ice," AC/DC's first new studio effort in nearly a decade, which hit shelves last October. The record--sold exclusively at Walmart, Sam's Club and the band's website--debuted at No. 1 in 29 countries including the US and became Columbia Records' biggest debut album since Nielson SoundScan sales tracking began in 1991.

The rock icons launched the first leg of the "Black Ice World Tour" last October, marking the band's first live performances in five years. They posted sellouts in 18 cities and broke sales records at several venues.
