With three decades on the job, veteran Texas rockers ZZ Top still subscribe to the adage "the show must go on." Case in point: when a shared tour with Aerosmith was scrapped after Steven Tyler's fall last month at Sturgis, SD, the trio simply turned the outing into an extension of a scheduled fall tour.
"We're going to get out there as quickly as possible and play for people who want to come to a 'down 'n' dirty' rock and roll show--no frills and no holds barred," singer/guitarist Billy Gibbons said in a press release of ZZ Top's revamped plans.
The current itinerary has the band on the road stateside through a Sept. 20 stop in Reading, PA. LiveDaily photographer Lyle A. Waisman caught up with ZZ Top at the House of Blues in Chicago last week (9/4), and here are some of his shots.
