Taylor Swift Gallery Spotlight: Chicago, IL - Oct. 9, 2009

The very definition of the word "swift" fits Taylor Swift to a "T." The country-pop "it girl" has become a sensation in a mere three years.

Her second album, "Fearless," has spent more time on The Billboard 200 chart than any other album this decade, and she just wrapped up a US leg of her world tour, selling out arenas at every turn. Throw in an MTV VMA Award for "You Belong with Me" as Best Female Video, and one would think Champagne is called for. But Swift isn’t even old enough to drink; in fact, the 19 year old appears as wholesome as they come, still living at home with her parents in Pennsylvania.

Fans who missed her this time around will be happy to know she's added dozens of new shows beginning in March. Friday night (10/9), Taylor Swift performed a two-hour show including several costume changes and no less than 17 songs. LiveDaily photographer Lyle A. Waisman was there, and here are some of his best shots.
