In May 2008, The Ting Tings [ tickets ]--vocalist/bassist Katie White and guitarist/drummer Jules De Martino--released their debut studio album, "We Started Nothing," to chart topping success.

The set landed at No. 1 on the UK Album Chart, and also saw some success in he US, reaching No. 7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Chart and No. 8 on its Top Independent Albums chart. This year, the pair not only performed sets at several big music festivals in the US, but they also landed the supporting slot for Pink [ tickets ]'s Funhouse Tour.

Soon The Ting Tings will be heading to South America for a few November shows. Last month (9/17) LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder caught the band in action at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA, and here are the results.
