He rose to superstardom via his decades as the frontman of the pioneering rock band The Who, but Roger Daltrey [ tickets ] has finally stepped out on his first solo tour in 25 years.

Dubbed "Use It or Lose It," the solo outing has the London based singer/songwriter scheduled to perform in approximately 30 theatres and halls around North America through the end of November. In a pre-tour press release, Daltry said: "I thought it'd be nice to play smaller, more intimate venues. ...I want to give people a good night out. The economic situation being what it is these days, I think that's what they want: to go out and feel they've had a good jolly-up."
