Roger Daltrey Gallery Spotlight: Chicago, IL - Nov. 2, 2009
He rose to superstardom via his decades as the frontman of the pioneering rock band The Who, but Roger Daltrey has finally stepped out on his first solo tour in 25 years.
Dubbed "Use It or Lose It," the solo outing has the London based singer/songwriter scheduled to perform in approximately 30 theatres and halls around North America through the end of November. In a pre-tour press release, Daltry said: "I thought it'd be nice to play smaller, more intimate venues. ...I want to give people a good night out. The economic situation being what it is these days, I think that's what they want: to go out and feel they've had a good jolly-up."
Tomorrow night (11/5), fans can catch Daltrey in Orillia, Ontario. This weekend, the tour hits Mashantucket, CT (11/7), and Boston (11/8). LiveDaily photographer Lyle A. Waisman attended Daltrey's show in Chicago on Monday (11/2), and here are some of his best shots.
