Police reportedly are investigating reports that shots were fired as 50 Cent [ tickets ] and his entourage arrived at a Jersey City, NJ, hotel shortly after midnight on Tuesday (9/9).

According to The Jersey Journal, 50 Cent was checking in to the hotel when the gunfire erupted, and he and most of his entourage fled following the incident. No injuries were reported.

Police are asking that the rapper and his crew voluntarily answer questions.
