Weekend Ticketing: Jay-Z, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Widespread Panic, Bob Dylan, Taking Back Sunday

Following a Friday night (9/11) concert in New York City that will serve as both a 9/11 tribute and a fundraiser for a charity that benefits the families of fallen police, firefighters and other first responders, rap mogul Jay-Z will set out on a North American tour behind his just-released album, "The Blueprint 3."

Tickets go on sale Friday (9/11) in University Park, PA; Amherst, MA; Baltimore; Columbus, OH; and Champaign, IL, as well as in the Canadian cities of Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. Saturday (9/12) on-sales are set for tickets to upcoming shows in Highland Heights, KY; Seattle; Providence, RI; Ypsilanti, MI; and Albuquerque, NM (via Live Nation).

Trans-Siberian Orchestra 's 60-member-plus ensemble will once again split into two touring units this winter in order to hit more than 80 cities across the US and Canada; about 50 of those cities will get both afternoon and evening performances on the same day.

Tickets for the bulk of the group's massive outing go on sale between Friday (9/11) and Monday (9/14).

Veteran jam-rockers Widespread Panic will follow their forthcoming Southern US tour with The Allman Brothers Band with a headlining run of their own.

Tickets hit the box office Friday (9/11) for the group's three-night run in Los Angeles; on Saturday (9/12) for a stop in Reno, NV; and on Sunday (9/13) for a three-night stand in Oakland, CA.

Now that his summer tour of minor-league ballparks with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp is complete, Bob Dylan has turned his focus to an October headlining run of his own.

Saturday (9/12) on-sales are in place for Dylan's one-off performance in Denver, as well as for a three-night run in Chicago.

Once their support run alongside Blink-182 and Weezer wraps up later this month, Taking Back Sunday and The All-American Rejects will join forces for a fall co-headlining tour of the US.
