Band Of Skulls

British alt-rockers Band of Skulls, who just formed last year, are off to a promising start. The group released its debut album, "Baby Darling Doll Face," in March of 2009, then spent the summer touring the US during a run that included a performance at Lollaplooza.

The trio--Russell Marsden (guitar/vocals), Emma Richardson (bass/vocals) and Matt Hayward (drums)--are poised for an even bigger bump later this fall when their music is featured on the soundtrack for the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon."
